Description

Foredom’s unique feedback circuitry of the motor provides smooth start-up and high torque at all operational speeds. These ball-bearing motors utilize advanced Rare Earth magnets that deliver more torque at the low end and throughout the entire speed range of 500 to 14,000 RPM. Foredom’s most powerful flex shaft machine with a 1/3 horsepower ball- bearing motor. Shaft is 39″ long and 0.150″ diameter, and is wrapped in a protective steel-lined sheath with silencer.

All Foredom drills include the #30 handpiece (item #071-019), which provides up to 14,000 RPM. Maintenance-free ball bearings. The geared Jacobs® chuck accommodates shank sizes up to 5/32″. Includes chuck key. Handpiece size is 1″ dia x 5-1/4″ long, and weighs 6 ounces.

Item #071-016 SXR: Foot pedal speed control comes in a heavy, cast iron metal housing. The extra weight provides added stability and control, and the ergonomics allow precise and reliable speed control with your foot. This foot pedal has special electronics that convert AC current from an electrical outlet to DC current — the type required by the motor. It has a special plug that fits the motor’s shielded plug. The unit is 7″ long x 5″ wide x 2-1/2″ high. Packaged weight is 6 lb/2.7 kg, 4 Amps, 60 Hz.

Item #071-017 EMX: Table-top speed control is constructed of heavy duty plastic with durable solid state electronics. It has a dial control for precise speed settings, as well as good repeatability of previous settings. Has special electronics that convert AC current from an electrical outlet to DC current — the type required by the motor. Has a special plug that fits the motor’s shielded plug. The unit is 5″ long x 5-7/8″ wide x 2-3/4″ high. Packaged weight is 2 lb/1 kg, 3 Amps, 60 Hz.

Item #071-019: General purpose #30 handpiece has prelubricated ball bearings that do NOT require any additional lubrication. Comes with a chuck key in molded plastic handle for changing accessories. Handpiece is 5-3/16″ long x 1″ dia. It weighs a mere 5.85 oz.
