Leone Rapid Palatal Expansion Screws

Description

Leone Expansor™ series expansion screws with Muscle Thread™, which maintains a direct compressive force to suppress slipping/back-turning. This property is derived by extruding the threads with compression, resulting in a perfect fit, total surface smoothness, and maximum hardness.

Extension arms are laser welded for superior strength, and bend easily with our bending tool (Item #044A-030). The expansion limit, directional arrow, and batch number are laser welded on each screw.

The screw body is 11mm wide x 3.5mm thick. Screw length varies with expansion capacity. One revolution equals 0.8mm. Made of 100% Swedish surgical grade stainless steel.  Guaranteed against corrosion in the oral cavity.
