 ORTHO PLASTER

Harder and whiter than ordinary plaster. Whip Mix recommends vacuum-mixing this plaster for the finest, most accurate, and dense results.

Type II and ADA certified

Consistency = 37ml water : 100g powder

Working time = 7 to 9 minutes

Setting time = 14 minutes

Setting expansion = 0.20%

Compressive strength = 3,500psi (wet, 1 hour); 6,500psi (dry, 48 hours)

 

ORTHO STONE

A lab standard for many years, this stone produces consistently hard, accurate models.

Type III and ADA certified

Consistency = 28ml water : 100g powder

Working time = 5 to 7 minutes

Setting time = 11 minutes

Setting expansion = 0.09%

Compressive strength = 4,500psi (wet, 1 hour); 8,500psi (dry, 48 hours)

 

SNAP STONE

Allows separation from the cast in just 5 minutes! Exceptionally fast setting, and exhibits an early high compressive strength. Versatile light pink color. Whip Mix recommends mixing this by hand for the best results.

Working time = 60 to 90 seconds

Setting time = 2 minutes

Setting expansion = 0.15%

Early compressive strength = 6,000psi (wet, 1 hour); 14,000psi (dry, 48 hours)
